Below, I have a few simple distinctions on repair services:
Overhaul
The term we all know but kinda dread. Its not as bad as it sounds! Overhauls can vary shop to shop and at the very least involve a Complete Mechanical Restoration.
I take it to the next level
From an overhaul by me, your clarinet will be optimized for its best use and feel. Level ring and table heights, balanced spring tension and improved mechanics, key modifications, and longlasting key bumper materials. Everything necessary to perfectly optimize the horn to you.
Clarinet and Oboe Overhauls range between $800-900 depending on demands for extra key and body work.
Saxophone, Bass Clarinet, and Bassoon overhauls range $1,100-1,300
YOU CHOOSE your pad set: Leather (white or black) or Valentino Masters (white or black), and cork pads on the top joint.
The entire process will take 2 weeks from start to finish! I accept shipments from all across the country.
Clean, Oil & Adjust
Otherwise known as a COA, this is the most common service needed! These repairs are quoted based on the condition of your horn. This service ALWAYS includes a full and thorough cleaning with a wood oil treatment. During the reassembly, I meticulously consider how best to get your clarinet working to its best ability. This involves replacing any pads and bumpers necessary for a perfect seal.

Custom Mod Work
Sometimes your clarinet just needs a little something extra. Keys added, microphone installed, thumbrest relocations, etc.
